Chicken Caesar Salad with Homemade Croutons/Crostini


Description: This recipe will make all of your Caesar Salad dreams come true. The parmesan crostini is pure cheesy, crispy deliciousness. The chicken is perfectly baked. The butter lettuce mixed with Hanley’s Caesar Dressing, cracked black pepper and grated parmesan cheese is just perfect. Ingredients:

  • Chicken Breast
  • Baguette 
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Butter Lettuce
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Hanley’s Caesar Dressing

Directions:

  1. Slice a baguette long ways, across the top for a long, thinly sliced piece of bread
  2. Coat the bread with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  3. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top and bake in the oven at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 15 minutes
  4. Bake chicken breast coated with olive oil salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a dish in the oven at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 25 minutes or until fully cooked
  5. While the chicken breast and crostini bake, prepare your salad by tossing butter lettuce in Hanley’s Caesar Dressing with cracked black pepper and grated parmesan cheese 
  6. Remove the crostini from the oven and place it on top of your salad
  7. Remove chicken breast from the oven, slice and add to your salad
  8. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top

Pro Tip: Chilled. Butter. Lettuce. Wait to pull your lettuce out of the refrigerator until you’re ready to make your salad. There’s something about chilled lettuce in a Caesar Salad that just feels right. It’s extra crisp and delicious!
