Bacom Breakfast Pizza

Pizzaā€¦ for breakfast! Using dough made with self-rising flour and greek yogurt for the crust, this pizza is off to a healthier start than most. Topped with shredded mozzarella cheese, eggs, and avocado, itā€™s packed with flavor. Any morning that starts with pizza for breakfast is sure to be a great one!

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups Plain Unflavored Greek Yogurt
  • 1Ā½ Cup of Self-Rising Flour
  • 5 Eggs
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Hanleyā€™s Bacom Bits
  • Avocado
  • Fresh ParsleyĀ 
  • SaltĀ 
  • PepperĀ 
  • Garlic Powder
  • Olive Oil

Directions:

Pizza Dough:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450ā„‰
  2. Add 2 cups of Greek Yogurt with 1Ā½ cup self-rising flour and garlic powder to a bowl and mix
  3. Pour the fully mixed dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and shape into your desired pizza crust shape
  4. Whisk 1 egg to use as an egg-wash on your pizza dough
  5. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 450ā„‰

Pizza Topping

  1. Pull out of the oven and top with shredded mozzarella cheeseĀ 
  2. Make small ā€˜nestsā€™ or areas to crack 4 eggs into
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  4. Bake in the oven at 450ā„‰ for an additional 15 minutes
  5. Remove pizza from the oven and top with Hanleyā€™s Bacom Bits and your desired toppings (we recommend parsley and avocado slices)

Pro Tip: If you donā€™t have self-rising flour on handā€“ donā€™t worry! You can use all-purpose flour with 1 Ā½Ā  teaspoons of baking powder and Ā¼ teaspoons of salt per cup of all-purpose flour. Whisk the baking powder, salt and all-purpose flour together before mixing with the greek yogurt. This will give the ā€˜doughā€™ the same effect as self-rising flour.
